King David and others in the bible were apart of the one thing club. I am dedicating this message to Carol Dwyer who has just pasted on to glory and is meeting with members of the one thing club in heaven. Are you apart of the one thing club my friend?

God did not save us to be alone or to toil in vain with our strength to bring forth His Kingdom. He has called us together as a family, a family that is woven together by the blood of Christ, work of the Spirit and love of the Father. Some of have no idea of what a proper functioning family is, I am going to layout what God has in mind for the body of believers as a family.

I will be speaking out of 2 Kings 6:1-7, which speaks of restoration. This is one of my favorite scriptures about restoring. God wants you to be established in the Kingdom. God is calling those who are from diverse life styles into His house.

3rd strike Christians are those in the body who are straddling the line of serving God and backsliding. There are reasons of why they chose to walk that line and I am here to call them from there back to were they belong.

Most of us when we come to Christ have issues of from our past and some of those issues stop us from becoming fully mature Christians. The work of the Holy Spirit is to bring these issues to the surface so God can deal with them. The only way to fix a broken pipe is to dig it up, our hearts can be layered with broken pipes. Some surface deep others need excavation work of God to get to them and he will.

Continuing with how God brings about a character change in our spirit and mind. This allows us to see with a clarity that we have never had before. It is a process to rebuild a condemned house, it is done in stages, so is our character change.

God took Moses and rebuilt his character to serve Him. Moses suffered from some identity issues as we all do. But God is in the business of restructuring our character to be like Him, to want Him and to reproduce Him in our lives.

Every believer is a well of salvation, you have and you are, if you know Jesus a well of salvation. The well water is for you and the over flow is for others.

John 7:38-39 Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart. 39 (When he said “living water,” he was speaking of the Spirit, who would be given to everyone believing in him. But the Spirit had not yet been given, because Jesus had not yet entered into his glory.)

We need to know when to give from our well and when not to give, cause if we give to much we become depleted, drained and can suffer spiritual anxiety.

Pastor Jerry Thurston preaches on new beginnings in the house of God and in our personal life. There are season of transition were God take us to the next level of growth, maturity and intimacy. These transitions can be difficult and exhausting, but also exciting and exhilarating.
